Brittney Palmer, the No. 40 entry on our Top 99 Most Desirable Women Of 2012, juggles two very different jobs: She's one-third of UFC’s ring girl trio and is also an art student at UCLA. We recently interviewed her to find out what she looks for in guys, but we wanted to hit her up again to find out what she thinks of the Top 99 and to see what she's got in store for us. Brittney Palmer On The Top 99What do you think got you on the Top 99 Women of 2012?I guess I can say the reasons why my fans are my fans is because I kind of feel like I’ve brought a little bit to the table by going to art school, leaving the UFC and later coming back. And people responded well to that. I think that had a big part with my inclusion in the Top 99.Who would you like to see make the Top 99?I just want to see a girl who hasn’t been nominated every single year. I want to see a girl who is kind of an up-and-coming underdog. I don’t really have anyone specific in mind -- just a really awesome chick who is new to the game.What other type of “Top” list would you like to be part of?I guess some sort of artsy, creative list.Was going back to school a huge lifestyle change for you?Of course it was a change, but I mean, that’s what the world is about, that’s what life is about -- it’s about always switching it up. Being in art school is fun. It’s a different kind of homework. You just get to go paint and have wine and you get to hang out with the coolest artists in Los Angeles. So, really, it was a good change.Brittney Palmer On Being A Ring GirlBest perk of being a part of the UFC?The fans, the traveling and being a part of something I love to do. I love the UFC, so working for an organization you already love is the best job.When traveling for work, is it a lot of PR or do you have time to explore and do what you want?We’re lucky enough to work in the entertainment world, so a lot of the PR is entertainment. When we were in Australia we went surfing at Bondi Beach, yet they were filming, but we still got to surf on Bondi Beach. It’s the best of both worlds.Are you into any other sports besides MMA?Football, kind of. I’m a San Diego Chargers fan. Craziest thing you’ve seen during or after a fight?I saw a guy's arm get snapped.What’s the most memorable moment you have had as a ring girl?The time when the UFC went to Toronto for the first time and put on a show in front of 55,000 fans was pretty amazing.What went behind your decision to appear in Playboy? They approached me, and I was honored to be approached. Playboy is a great company, and three other ring girls have done it before, so it kind of just felt natural to do. I’m an art student, and I paint naked girls all the time, but this time I’m on the other side of the canvas, and I’m the subject. It’s an experience.What’s in store for Brittney Palmer for 2012?Everything. I’m going to have another calendar for 2013. Obviously Playboy is going to be huge. My artwork, that’s what’s really the most important to me, and really studying and getting better and being better. I’m an artist now. I sell paintings through my website and I do a lot of commissions, and it’s awesome. It’s kind of continuing everything that I’ve built so much of in 2011 and bringing it over to 2012.
